In the same way that during a lot of years there has been the 007 collection or the Doraemon collection (films that are not sequels, but clearly could be episodes of the same TV series), it seems logical to put together the 124 Pink Panther theatrical cartoons in a collection that allow Jellyfin users to manage all this films in a plug and play way. Otherwise there is caos. I don't see the benefit of deleting this collection.
In fact, there is also this other collection of films that are not sequels & I can't see the difference https://www.themoviedb.org/collection/937

As you indicate yourself, the Pink Panther shorts aren't sequels. So, this is not possible
These feature length movies are real sequels.

That's not right. It is possible. Look:

No, they aren't. They are independent. They don't share a story or timeline. They just share the same character, like in 007 collection (In this case they don't even share most of de actors: https://www.themoviedb.org/collection/2396). But they were created years ago because in all Plex or Jellyfin they are into the same collection, without exception.
I don't see the benefit of deleting this collection, and the harm is obvious.

These collections are unrelated to the Pink Panther shorts collection.
They are.

I know that. And you knew that. I have the feeling that instead of reasoning seriously about this topic you are just answering in a rude manner. In all these cases, they are examples of theatrical movies into a franchise that are not sequels but independent. Some of them are even remakes of other movies into the collection. Why are they together? Because they could be chapters in a TV series. In the case of Pink Panther that is obvious because they even use the same melody all the time. And it is all the time the same character with no important redesign, it's not like Merry Melodies.
You know perfectly that that collection of Asterix movies with 5 different Asterix are not sequels. They don't share story, they don't share timeline. They don't have memories of previous films. Pink Panther shorts are more consistent. They would be considered a TV series if instead of theatrical movies they were just broadcasted on TV.

If you disagree with other existing collection, you need to file a content report (Overview -> Report) on that collection page.
