She was calling Alex Pao Pao, which was Paula's nickname in season 16. I don't believe she ever called her panda, but it's possible Megan thought she heard panda but it was actually Pao Pao.

Either way the situation was handled terribly. Jessica made it seem like she said absolutely nothing about her. If she admitted she called her Pao Pao they may have been able to resolve the misunderstanding.

I was thinking someone called Jessica a panda, because she's obviously half white and black. I didn't get to see the first part of the show to make too much of sense of it.

Exactly! I Totally agree. Wow-I felt SO bad for Megan and I didn't even like her at first.

You seem to be making up your own conclusions instead of watching what happens/is happening on the show.

You did not see it so You got it mixed up- No one called Jessica a panda.

(and panda is not a term used (or new or invented term for her) for a half white and black person-but it is a racist one used for Asians, you also did not see the intro of the contestants and their families- so you did not see Jessica's family to say she is "obviously " mixed. )

Here's what happened:

Yes, why of course you certainly are entitled to your beliefs. I have been mistaken for being something I am not on the regular, so I realize what I feel is obvious may not be so obvious , what race/color people are- doesn't matter (to me) anyways.

Again, thank you for the link. In those 2 particular side by side photos - they DO look alike to me, but in other instances/photos, I don't think they do.

Yeah, the concierge I know points you to places to go and help out with traveling needs at a hotel. There's no way they are going to show up in lingerie and bikinis on private boats.
