"Origin Country" field is not here to duplicate the "Production Countries" field.
Here is the definition of the field given by @travisbell at the time of its addition to the movies. I quote : "The origin country field is not the same as production country. It has been present on TV since 2015 or so. The introduction of the origin country field on movies is intended to bring field parity between TV and movie data and designed to indicate where a movie is originally released. This has generally nothing to do with the production countries (point is, although they are the same sometimes, they are certainly not all the time)."
The fact this is a co-production between Unted States and Canada is already indicated by the "Production Countries" field.

This and any cinema/video/web production are originated from the countries that own the companies they created them and the country of release date is irrelevant. Release has nothing to do with production. It's just the country that distributed first a product AFTER its production. Any database and bibliography ever existed is reffering in fact to "origin of production companies" as "countries of origin" and not the country that each production released first. This information comes secondarily from the release date where he country that was released is listed together. The country that was originally released is not a standalone information that any real Study needs. In case we are confused, I'm asking you to unlock the field "Χώρα προέλευσης" (I translated it backwards as "country of origin"), beside "Πρωτότυπη γλώσσα σειράς" field ("original language" probably, I don't know if your translations are accurate from the English language).
