In the pilot ep to this medical drama there is a blurry picture of Alan Alda and Wayne Rogers. A for sure reference to the earlier TV character Trapper played by Rogers rather than series regular Pernell Roberts here. I read that AFTER the pilot was filmed it was then decided that this show would be a spinoff of Mash the movie. That explains the early reference-connection to Mash the TV series ( see my reviews).

About very beautiful Christopher Norris. She wonderfully played Nurse Brancusi in the series and a secret very strong hit of the show she was. A lady who looked a lot like Miss. Norris was on After Mash also playing a nurse. I wonder if the was just a coincidence. Or something more.
