Do you have proof they are sequels? Neither AniDB nor MAL list them as such.

Thanks for the reply, however it's the name suggests it's a sequel, i guess it depends on what you define as sequels, do they need to be story driven sequel?
Effectively, the name is [show] and [show] 2... shouldn't that classify as second season?
I've found quite a few shows effectively are the same series, but are classified as a separate show.

To further discuss my point, https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/13796-underbelly/seasons, each season are a completely different story, but it's all classified as the same series.
They are all named "Underbelly" and then follow by a new season name, but they are not related yet they are classified as the same series.
