تدور الأحداث حول الشقيقتين محظوظة ومبروكة مع عمهما. بسبب مطالبتهما بحقهما بورث والدهم، يتهمهم عمهما بالجنون ويدخلهن مستشفى الطب النفسي، إلا أنَّ الشقيقتين تقرران الهرب من المستشفى لإظهار براءتهما من تهمة الجنون ولكشف الحقيقة.
