If we use years as season numbers, then the system thinks that there is a "season 2,007", not "2007". The season names can be years, but not season numbers.

I know what the guideline is, but for this show the oficial site/tv station use year as the oficcial season numbes.
If TMDB does not reflect this realaty, TMDB is not usable as indexer for this show.
The "," is just the Thousands Separator and should not be a problem when indexing from other sites.
That is the way the system is built, on the season edit interface here it will treat any four digit number as a number in the thousands and the tv page will not have a year assigned to it if it is missing a "season 1". If you want to suggest changes to that, then please post about it in the website support section instead, the admin will give you feedback faster there.

Per the guidelines, season numbers should not be years. I am going to adjust the seasons you created.

Season numbers ARE the year on this one. See officiel website: https://www.dr.dk/drtv/saeson/kontant_294266
Please change the season numbers back again. Season 3 > 2007, 4 > 2008, 5 > 2009 .... 18 > 2022.
Season 1+2 I don't know about. They where there before I added the content for 2007 to 2022.
