Bring back to life a dead character to make him become friend with the locals and fight ninjas.
It's beautiful, but nothing to do with the original character.
Thanks for nothing Disney

if you're referring to letting Boba Fett die as it has nothing to do with the originals, it actually does pull from the 1997 book Shards of Alderaan in which Boba Fett does actually crawl out of the sarlac pit. Boba Fett was one of the most popular Star Wars characters amongst fans so this show isn't too farfetched. As of episode 3, it is pretty damn awesome with a lot of cool backstory, especially about Tattooine and its peoples.

I know he survived in some books, but he lost all what was making him cool in the movies. No more cool attitude of a rude non speaking character. He's more like a social assistant in a poor city. The show is too far from the character's original behaviour and attitude.
I haven't read the book but: does he make friend with some tuskens? does he hire "scum young guys" who steal waters and ride Interstellar vespa to help them not wasting their youth in the city ?
Once again, what's is nice: star wars universe, what's not: far from epic stories
The series is only well noted because SW, not because of good content.
If you've read the book, I am interested on what s happenning to BF after the sarlacc.

Ah I see what you're saying. Now that we are getting his back story he has lost some of his mystique and solitary appeal. I agree to that as well. I just think they're doing a good job kind of showing more of him and expanding on his personality while still maintaining that solitary Mandalorian attitude.
And it has been awhile since I read Shards of Alderaan, but essentially it set up for him claiming out of the pit and going after Jacen and Jaina Solo (who are no longer part of the new Star Wars cannon). Also since Disney bought Star Wars and decided what was official cannon or not now, there are a bunch of storylines that never happened. Supposedly there was also some bit about how the Boba Fett character in Shards was actually Boba Fett's daughter pretending to be him, which would have been even more of a stretch haha. So essentially it was just kind of cool that Disney at least kept something from the previous Star Wars books. But honestly, how the else would have Fett got out of the sarlac pitt if not for crawling out or being rescued by random characters? 🤣
