Discuss Julia

Yeah, nice retro 60s TV show about cooking with no drama happening suitable for weekend afternoon or some children channel. I knew I am not going into thriller/drama and it's gonna be just some background lighthearted TV show, which pretty much met my expectations, I'm just surprised people rating this almost 10/10 as something mindblowing and perfect, which it ain't and it touched more serious note only in last 2 episodes, while The Americans has only 79%. I am not big fan of Americans, it's also retro, it was mostly also background TV show for me, but there was at least some drama, some character development and it was definitely on par with this cooking TV show, so while 79% feel still a bit overrated it's much closer to reality than Julia's ratings.

Also Sarah Lancashire is 173cm and too old to play 188cm tall Julia Child which was supposed to be 50-51yo during the first season (I was mindblowned when they mentioned it since judging by actress I would be think she is in late 50s or early 60s), since her height was pretty stunning, but you don't see the height in TV show almost at all next to the other characters, she doesn't stand out. SL was definitely miscast height and age wise (and I liked Happy Valley for the record).
