Yao Zong, een assistent-paardentrainer die het niet goed doet in zijn carrière. Ondanks dat hij op het werk wordt gepest, zet hij dagelijks dapper door op om het respect van zijn familie te behouden. Als hij beseft dat de wensen inderdaad uitkomen, wil hij meer. Maar deze keer moet hij een prijs betalen voor de volgende drie wensen. Ondanks de waarschuwing gebruikt hij ze toch en verandert zijn familie in instant miljonairs door het winnen van de loterij. Maar hij betaalt met een hoge prijs - zijn dochter verliest daardoor haar benen. Hebzucht wordt dan geïllustreerd door zijn zoon, die de laatste wens gebruikt om nog drie wensen te wensen. In wat een eindeloze cyclus lijkt, zoekt Yao Zong wanhopig naar de volgende persoon om de drie wensen van hem weg te nemen.

But this time, he has to pay a price for the next three wishes. Despite the warning, he uses them anyway and turns his family into instant millionaires from winning the lottery. But he pays with a high price - his daughter loses her legs as a result. Greed is then exemplified by his son, who uses the last wish to wish for three more wishes. In what seems like a never-ending cycle, Yao Zong looks desperately for the next person to take the three wishes away from him.
