Extra Details: Im not sure if this is correct, but from what i've read. TV specials should be added as "movies".

This show started with two "specials". お毒味役主丞　乾いて候 in 1983 and 乾いて候　お毒味役必殺剣. Then in 1984 they made a 6 part series. After that in 1993, they made a third special 乾いて候.

In this entry, Special 1 is added as season 1, Special 2 as season 2 and so on.
