Anime series are messy right now, with a lot of duplication and different ways of organizing seasons. This seems to be a duplicate, but it will require some research to determine which one should be kept. They currently have different air dates and different numbers of seasons. Dragon Ball Z, in fact, has NO seasons. It was aired in one continuous run of 291 episodes, regardless of how Funimation or another licensee may have marketed it.

So basically, we're waiting to a get a final consensus on how to handle these types of situations for anime in general (the fake seasonal breakups). And then the Dragon Ball Z-specific situation here will have to be investigated. So long story short, it may be awhile before anything can be done about this. BUT I very much appreciate the heads up and it will definitely go on the "to fix" list. Meanwhile, I ask no moderator take any action on these apparent duplicates at this time. There is a LOT of data here in many languages, and we don't want to delete anyone's hard work without more research.

There is also some unbelievable mess going on with Dragon Ball Z "movies", regarding the abridged version...I think. That will have to be sorted as well.

I examined each record and kept https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/12971-dragon-ball-z. It by far had the most data. The one thing it doesn't have is English titles and descriptions past episode 39, but it had multiple other languages. Also because one record was missing a lot of episodes, it would have been difficult to match up the correct English episode with all the other languages without making a huge mistake. The English info had come straight from Wikipedia, so it's easy to copy-paste it again. However, most of the summaries were un-usable because they contained too many spoilers anyways.

However, I'd hold off on doing this until all of the episodes are combined into one season, the way they will eventually be. It is just taking some time to figure out the best way to make these changes. It'll be very hard to manually move each episode in multiple languages.
