It will take a little time for the boards to get filled with messages. I have already seen a huge increase in board activity since I signed up at the beginning of last week. I'll keep plugging this site on IMDB until it closes.

Yeah Pandora, I'm noticing it as well. I'm so happy people from IMDB are finding a new home. I'm still quite pissed that IMDB did this to us! I don't want to get too side tracked about it...but I really think IMDB will die without the message boards. Seriously, what's the point in going to that site without them?

Did you ever see that Kevin Costner movie where he owned a farm and he was a huge baseball fan? I can't remember the title.

He cleared part of his property and built a baseball diamond with bleachers and everything. People started coming from all over.

One of the lines from the movie was..."build it, and they will come".

I feel like that's what is going on here at TMDb . Build it, and they will come.

Going to be hard to forget about that site. I posted there for years! I was there since 2003! I had a lot of good discussions over there...not to mention all the laughs I got from other posters over the years. Despite all the trolling, it was an excellent source of information!

I have been posting on there since 2002. I loved that site and defended it as though it were my own. Even when reddit came into prominence and people tried to get me over there to discuss films I refused to abandon IMDB and here they are abandoning me. Sounds like a tragic love story.
