I was hoping to see more people here considering the fate of that other board that's bailing on its members.

I was also there for over 15 years, but honestly, I stopped posting on the General boards due to the trolls long ago. I only used the specific movies, and even then you had the jerks that only knew how to be negative.

I think that IMDB probably did everyone a big favor, even though it's hard to see that now.

Here!! I admit I love the discussion boards, but I mostly lurk. Easy to do when a zillion people are posting over there. But I'm wondering (hoping) that when the boards are finally gone (and TWD board basically is) interested fans will gravitate somewhere else. Hope it's here. What group was Rick smiling at??!!

Going to be hard to forget about that site. I posted there for years! I was there since 2003! I had a lot of good discussions over there...not to mention all the laughs I got from other posters over the years. Despite all the trolling, it was an excellent source of information!

Right...it will be hard. I too had a number of incredible and quite deep discussions on those boards. I had some serious bonding moments and crossed paths with a lot of cool and decent people. Conversations included race, religion, politics, love, hate, bigotry, how to make the world better...to name a few. Quite insightful and surprisingly beautiful moments.

It wasn't all drag out arguments and fights.

I refused to abandon IMDB and here they are abandoning me. Sounds like a tragic love story.

That's so true. Maybe this place can be like that. It's what I'm hoping.

I am here from IMDB because someone put up a link to this site....I was pissed that they are shutting down the message boards. I don't usually comment to much but I love reading everyone else messages....especially during the episode :)
