Well, Rick seemed to be enjoying himself an awful lot when the group went beyond Thunderdome this week. Seriously I was just waiting to hear the chant "Two men enter, one man leaves!"
Is it just me, or do these landfill people seem more like a generation removed from the ZA than just a few years? And the big question is, can they be trusted? The Terminus folks seemed so friendly and nice ... until the train car, and the slaughter room, and human torsos hanging from the ceiling like slabs of beef. The tribe of the trash piles at least don't seem to be hiding who they are. What do people think about this group? Long term friends or eventual adversaries?

Yeah, they seem like they are from another planet. They don't have guns which means they won't be able to shoot for shit when the war happens so they may be reliable as to showing up to the fight but whether they will be worth a fk is another story.

They seem to have guns (well some of them do). How much ammo they've got remains to be seen. But no, I was talking more about whether or not they can be fully trusted. Will they suddenly be pointing guns at the Alexandrians as soon as the fighting is through, and tell Rick that 100% of the Saviors' stuff sounds a lot more equitable than a third?

I think they will be reliable allies, at least until the war is over... simply because we know Rick has to win somehow. After the war, I wouldn't trust them any farther than I could throw them.

IMO, I don't trust them, but they will serve a purpose. They are lazy and the only work they ever put in, is to take what other people have worked hard for. I would not be surprised if they try to turn the tables on Rick after the war.

That's how I felt when they were "negotiating." Rick's euphoric smiling was freaking me out. TBH, I wouldn't trust them and if I were them (from their perspective), I wouldn't trust Rick. I predict them all turning on each other once the war is seemingly "won."

I think the issue may come when other communities get involved and don't feel a third of the spoils should go to the junk people, especially if others contribute just as much or more to the effort. That may cause some friction. Perhaps the alliance with them will become frayed, they'll drop out and go to ground while the war against the Saviors is being fought. Then we'll see them later on as raiders, who may take hostages again to trade for what they believe is rightfully theirs.
