The only time I saw her kinda smile happy was when she was asked to dinner by that guy. It's her fault Eugene got taken away but she's just super super bitchy this season! Abraham can't be the reason, right?

I think that the writers are changing her character.... she has become very bitchy lately.... maybe they are going to write her off the show soon...

Great character and one of the better female actors. She's rightly angry and determined now to make life for The Saviors as hard as possible as soon as she can help her people get into a position to do so.
As a comic reader I prefer this version of the Latino girl. In print she is a background character who has little to contribute. I'm all for characters who work on screen in this show to be around longer and contribute more than their original counterparts. As we saw in the mid-season premier Rick's group is very small now and I really don't see the need to kill off anyone again so soon after the brutal demise of Abe, Glenn and later on Spencer...Olivia too, although that was somewhat sudden.
If anyone needs launched out of the apocalypse cannon it's that Sasha woman. Horrible character and a complete dog's dinner they've made of the actor's limited skills. Barely a week holding hands with Bob and as distraught as if she'd had ten years and two kids with him. Roll out the same guff with Abe and it's the same shite all, over again. No idea what to do with her so they shoehorn her in at the Hilltop between Maggie and Enid in what really should be a touching number of scenes as Maggie fights through her grief relocating with Enid who has been brought in to fill the void for Carol's daughter Sophia who was taken under Maggie and Glenn's wing since her mother's death who passed much earlier in print.
Liking Rosita so far this season...hope she proves to step up to the plate and lasts a few more season's yet.

I think she was more likable when she was hanging out with Daryl (and Abraham was with Sasha that time if I remember it right)

What we tend to forget is that these people have all been through hell and seen things no one should ever see. Most Vietnam vets didn't have nearly as many traumatic experiences as the characters in this show. What we saw with Sasha after Bob died was basically a woman who (like most survivors) has lost almost everything, then found something that gave her happiness, only to lose that too. After a while the constant bombardment of death and loss, always living in fear, and seeing horrible things happen before your eyes on a regular basis, it takes a toll. The Walking Dead is basically PTSD world. Rosita's recent behavior is a combination of all that shit plus her anger at being rejected by Abraham - and he did handle that situation very badly. Instead of going out half cocked to kill every last walker like Sasha, she wants to go single-handedly take down all the Saviors and cap Negan face-to-face. Her out of control rage is making her stupid.

She's becoming a hothead who's likely to get herself and others killed. She wants to act without thinking.

She's already gotten Olivia killed and Eugene captured. Didn't seem to learn much from the experience either. Rick needs to have a little chat with her, before she does any more damage.

Rosita can be a real asset, no doubt, but she has to dial back on the loose cannon shit. Rick needs to pull her aside and remind her what her hotheadedness has gotten the group so far. One dead, one taken prisoner. Then tell her hey, listen, we've all screwed up, I've certainly screwed up, but you need to pull yourself together now and stay focused. Make up for your mistakes by learning from them. We're following a plan here, and I need your help to make it work. Are you with me?
Some well deserved finger pointing, followed by a pep talk. She just needs to calm down a bit and get her head in the game.
Speaking of changes is anyone else impressed by Father Gabriel's transformation? Hard to believe the guy they found cowering on top of a rock was the same one who grabbed the garbage queen's second and put a knife to her throat. Actually I thought the scene from last season where he had one of the Saviors on the ground and finished his prayer with a bullet and an amen was pretty cool too! For a while there I wanted to see him devoured by a mob of walkers, but now the character kicks ass and I'd be sad to see him go.

I don't think that would work out. But which guy in Alexandria would be a good match for Rosita? Spencer was never going to be anything more than a rebound, you can't love someone you don't respect and she never really had any for him. What the hell: include Hilltop and the Kingdom. Who should they set her up with? I think we can rule out Gregory. Leave them alone in a room together and you'd be taking him out in a body bag (or at least with massive internal bleeding in the groin area).
All the characters we've seen at the Kingdom so far are either too old or too young for Rosita. So ... Daryl maybe? He's got to fall in love at least once during his time on TWD. Or how about our Hilltop friend Paul - could she be Mary Magdalene to his Jesus? Apparently in the comic Rosita hooked up with Eugene for a while. I can't see that happening on the show unless they're locked in a cell together and expect to be executed in the morning. What about Father Gabriel? They already hinted that he had an affair with the woman he saw as a walker in the food bank. So it wouldn't be his first indiscretion. Lack of options is such a problem during an apocalypse. Don't you hate it when that happens? They need to get the internet back up and running again.

That is why i said Tara was the possibility... There is simply no one left for Rosita who could be a match for her..... Considering how Rick got hooked up with Michonne unexpectedly there is no telling who Rosita ends up with.... The way Rosita and Tara talked in the first half of season 7, i thought there was a spark between them... or maybe only i i thought there was a spark.... Anyway only time will tell what's gonna happen....

Michonne and Ezekiel opens the door for rosita rick... or she dies. Don't forget, Dwight could be a wild card

I've been trying to figure out why she's this way this season. The writers would be unrealistic to pick and choose who to show having PTSD issues and grumpiness/bitchiness only when they feel like it...last season was Sasha's time, now it's Rosita's time? That's totally not believable. These people all go through hell all the time.
