I can see the trailer to her own spin off with that trailer voice over guy from the 90s:
In a world ravaged by the undead, a once mild-mannered housewife that used to get smacked around by her sloppy drunk of a husband decided that ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH. She became the eliminator of the undead and then just wanted to be left alone. But now, they've messed with the wrong housewife. Watch as Carol gets her revenge in......
Carol-First Blood part II
I know a lot of you are like "YAY you go girl!" but come on, its a friggin' joke already. It's like they tacked on John Wick to her persona. As soon as she finds out they killed Abe and Glenn I wouldn't be surprised if they show a corny scene with her tieing her laces on her combat boots, loading her clips with bullets, sharpening her Rambo knife, and putting on a bandolero. OH YEAH! IT'S ON NOW MFers!

I kinda thought that was well played. We have seen Carol go completely psycho. When Daryl and Morgan were talking about her going nuts if she found out, I was thinking that was exactly what would happen. What I found mildly compelling (keep in mind this is all relative as the writing of TwD is just ridiculous), was her confession that if anything had happened she would "lose herself" for good. I was genuinely surprised when Daryl didn't tell her what happened. Of course we all know it's a setup for when she does find out, but it was a nice touch.
BTW, if anyone is going to play Rambo it's going to me Michonne! ;)

Michonne is a badass and I love her. I just can't stand that Carol character. It just does not come off as believable AT ALL. Especially when it looks like she can barely hold a rifle up. The funniest was when she was sniping at Terminus and she was holding the rifle up like a, um, er, well, LIKE A GIRL! There I said it! She held the damn rifle up like a friggin' girl! May the feminists descend on me like a locust swarm.

Why do people love her progression from a boring timid housewife background character, to a gun totting kick ass action hero bona fide star of the show? It makes other characters look stupid, plus she died in the comics long ago.
Carol – No man, no law, no war can stop her!

This is fair (and perhaps to the original sarcastic? point @movie_nazi was making)...Carol has not paid a price for her isolationist tendencies. And in this post-apocalyptic world that seems highly unlikely.

I totally agree - Carol's character didn't evolve .... it became new. Between the cookies and the explosion that saved them all she became McGyver. Well, maybe her husband was truly holding her back ..... now she is able to fly

My disdain for Carol goes farther back than that. What I don't like about her is she went from being this mousy little woman, afraid of her own shadow to the executioner in 2.5 seconds. Just because she found her guts she took her newfound gumption and takes it too far. It started off with the murder of the people at the prison who caught the flu. Who the fuck is she to come to a decision of murdering sick people, SICK people without consulting at the very least Rick? These were people that were isolated in a jail FFS and she decides, nope too dangerous. Gotta kill 'em. Well they might get better... Nope, gotta kill 'em. I'm Carolbo and now and I have the balls to do what other are too weak to do so let me just ahead and exercise my newly found balls here. I can't believe the audience let her get away with that shit. She's a GD nazi eliminating the weak and "invalid" and SHE should be put the fk down.
Can you tell I hate her?
