Article I read left it open as to when these new stories would take place... in the fuiture or in the past. Won't see tonight's ep till later but I cannot imagine him leaving Judith behind...
What about Michonne? Questions arise, definitely. I had seen something online about Rick losing an arm in this ep... I'm glad he was spared that messiness.
I think 6 years time jump, heard someone associated with the show say that. I don't think Negan played Maggie. I think he was at rock bottom and was trying to goad her into killing him. Maybe the most real we've seen Negan. Maybe he gets better in 6 years.
Negan surprised me. His behavior took a lot from a not-so-recent issue of "The Walking Dead" where, after Andrea's death, Maggie finds Negan, planning to kill him. However, he is haunted by some of his actions and actually begs her to do it, so she changes her mind and does not kill him.
On Talking Dead, Gimple referenced that very incident from the novels. I didn't see that before I made my post.
I'm wondering how they'll handle Fear now. I figured Morgan and co. would make it to Alexandria by mid season or the end of the season, now I have no idea how they'll work it out. Maybe they'll end up in the Georgie's Ohio compound we've heard about.

As of the Fear finale, the trip to Alexandria is cancelled. Morgan no longer wants to go but wants to help the people on the video tapes, etc. He feels he can do more good there. Like sheep, everyone agreed to stay too. So no merge unless something unforeseen happens on Fear that makes them move. Of course once both shows are canceled a TV movie merging the groups could then occur.
And someone quickly mentioned gthey didn't like Carol's new hair. I do not recall seeing her new hair! Then again I did not see the preview of next Sunday's show.

Carol's new look was in the flashforward scenes. Long hippy hair and baggy hippy shirt. I like sleek warrior Carol better.
I thought in the Fear finale they were still going to head toward Alexandria, but try to help people on the way. I guess I missed that.
I didn't much care for Carol's new hair either. Maybe it won't last long. I wish they'd have Michonne just wear her natural hair. She looks so much better with her short hair.

Looked like she's on her way to transform into Ezekiel...

Once they found the depot where the trucks had been coming from Morgan announced he no longer wanted to go to Alexandria. He said "You all can go if your want" but he was staying to continue the mission of helping people in that area.
It was a pretty abrupt last five minutes reveal\decision. I was like "What?" After being so sold on heading back "home" Morgan suddenly decides to carry on the mission of the old man and his team of benevolent truckers. And the gang do not argue with him! He sold them on Alexandria and now reverses in mid-motion. So clearly this group, unlike TWD, need a leader as no one among them has the will or desire to lead. With Rick gone we have a variety of leaders, from the King to Carol, Daryl, Maggie (tho she is leaving too apparently), Oceanside, etc. Fear not so much.
My reason for watching tomorrow is to see what has happened to the Saviors in 6 years. Are they gone? Was the massacre at the camp the end of them and those not killed splintered off? Or are they still a PITA awaiting Negan's return? The loss of the bridge pretty much cut them off.
And Negan! Six years, seven and a half counting the first time jump, in a cell! He must be a blubbering idiot by now! And unable to move much as his muscles would have atrophied like a coma patient from not having anywhere to really walk\exercise.

At the very beginning of the apocalypse, it was Rick and Morgan. Perhaps this is all building up to a merging of the two series?
Whatever the case, the scope of this appears to be quite ambitious.
