It's been a long road with TWD. As I said last week, I was unaware of the timeshift/Rexit that was going down in S9E5 last week. While I enjoyed the cleaver camera pan time jump, I find myself really disconnected from the characters. They are the same, sort of, and yet we don't know them. Also, they seem less--not more--interesting to me now. Anyone else experiencing this?

All I know is that I've enjoyed every episode so far this season.
6 great episodes in a row... I haven't been able to say that for many years!

I agree. The past 3 seasons have been awful. I find myself back to feeling excited about watching a new episode. They need to kill off Negan though, then all will be good.

Well, I liked the first 5...hence my post. I still haven't been able to stomach Ep 6 and the time jump.

Good luck with that...it seems he is going to live to be a happy old man.

Yea and I don't like that one bit. Evil git. No type of redemption will ever make me like him after what he did to Glenn and Abraham and also others he has tortured, killed and raped along the way.

I have been wondering how much they have been paying JDM to do nothing. He has had only a couple scenes this first half. But IMDB show he is working on a movie, so at least he is free to do stuff and not hanging around.
Saw Lauren in "Mile 22" with Mark Whalberg. Good but could have been better action\espionage movie. The acting was good but something was missing in the execution. Odd since Peter Berg directed it.
But yeah, I too have been looking forward\wanting more this season. Odd to think next week is already the mid-season finale! Course I have to recall "Fear" and how everything went to s**t in the second half...
