Discuss The Walking Dead

Such a new world in TV these days. Long ago when I was a boy there were no such things as Mid-season finales. You got up to 32 episodes of a show, usually with no break except for holidays when no one is figured to watch, and then the summer break. Heck, there were no finales at all! "Dallas" seemed to be the show that changed that with the "Who shot JR?" ending to one of it's seasons. The fervor over the next seasons premier and it's high ratings got everyone else thinking they could do likewise.

Anyway...

We see that the tension between MIchonne and Maggie was not just about them. Apparently Michonne did something that pissed off both Hillside and The Kingdom (and probably Oceanside). Will we ever find out why? And will it be a good reason or another let down as in "Really? THAT is what it was about??"

Anyone else think Gabriel left the cell unlocked on purpose so Negan would escape thus freeing him up to go be with Rosetta??

The bean counters at AMC who have been directing the show since season two (complaints were rolling in that budget cuts were what Darabount leaving was really about) have sure found awesome ways to free up payroll budget for these new characters - killing off or sending off beloved characters!! Jesus' death was not only unexpected but unnecessary. Hilltop is already struggling without Maggie and now it loses Jesus. I assume Tara will be the interim "administrator", that or Aaron. Life goes on but...

Hey maybe he is not dead, just passed out? A twist on the Glenn death thing?

Negan. With no saviors left (we assume) what's he gonna do? And is is gone? Maybe he'll walk out and simply sit in Michonne's office saying "See? I could have taken off!" The look on his face surely says he has a plan. If nothing else, he is a man who always has a plan. Not even 7.5 years in a tiny cell could change that.
