I seem to be the ever-coveted "first!" on this board - and hopefully it will prove to be an adequate replacement for the Agents of SHIELD message board on IMDB. Although the ratings are down, I still hold out hope for a fifth season (although if they do get renewed, I suspect the fifth season would be its last). With things shaping up for Ragnarok and Infinity War, I'd certainly like AoS to be around for most of that!

I'm new to this board.
With the IMDB site shutting down, I hope that people discover this site.
I really like the format and it's very similar to IMDB.
Hope to see the familiar names on this site so we can keep talking about this show.

This is definitely the IMDB message board replacement.
I'm a really huge fan of Agents Of SHIELD. I only saw the first season and a half though. I mourn the loss of not being able to go back to the IMDB boards for all the discussions that people had of it while it was on. I regret not being able to see the series live, but the MCU is so gigantic that I just can't keep up with it and I like to view everything in chronological order (which includes the numerous Netflix series). So I just have no time for it now.

One would think that the InHumans would be the small screen, being on IMAX I guess BIG screen now that I think about it, tie-in for AoS. I have never been satisfied with AoS' treatment of The InHumans because it diverges too much from the print canon. The two never had to be the same but AoS' version seemed to take some of the luster. Connecting the InHumans to HYDRA was a huge eye-roll for me and left the Red Skull and the entire HYDRA evilness as incompetent.
Well being a fan of AoS I'll have to wait and see if they manage to get that storyline to play out to some level of satisfaction.

Seems pretty quiet right now. Did people jump to another message board for discussing the show?

Another migrant from IMDb here. Wasn't even aware this site existed until I saw it advertised around the IMDb boards in its final days. I rarely posted there, but checked the boards almost every week for this show and the DC CW shows to read others' thoughts and theories on each episode.
If this website and community winds up being as good as IMDb's was, I may start using this as my primary movie source as a form of protest against IMDb making the (I suspect corporate) decision that they did to close the boards. Seems a shame to have so many years of conversations wiped away like that.

Same here. I didnt post much there but i checked the boards after i watched new episodes of almost every show i watched just to get peoples thoughts. Also since i havnt read comic books in a good 20 years, im not up to date on alot of characters and story lines so its nice to see the community posting on recent comics and characters and how they compare to the shows and movies. Hopefully this site is a good replacement. Wish they had a mobile app so i didnt have to use my phones browser for this.

True. I guess not having mutants affects a lot of things in the MCU. The Inhumans are taking that place, which is going to change from how they were viewed in the comics. I am interested in seing the new show, set apart from everything, in their own world.

I have enjoyed MAoS but my biggest complaint has been the way that the Inhumans-instead-of-mutants thing has bled into the comics. There has been a huge push in the comics to include Inhumans and even ret-con some characters into Inhumans. It chaffs me because it is storytelling for business reasons instead of inspiration. The winds of creativity no longer fill that particular sail.
So just because Fox has the rights to X-all and FF, Marvel shafts the titles. FF is already gone completely. Mutants are being killed off by the Terrigen Mists.
I was never a huge fan of the original Inhumans but I did enjoy the occasional aside with them. Loved it when Crystal was a member of the FF, enjoy the Black Bolt character, and cameos of Lockjaw are always cool. In the latest runs of comics, the one saving grace of this Inhuman push has been the Karnak Comic by Warren Ellis. Top notch stuff (and Coulson is in a few issues so far)

Yeah, I agree. It probably comes from a desire to connect movie people to comics who've never read comics. What they should do is make it another universe, a MCU comic universe comics. That way they can keep the old and connect new.
