As much as I can't stand her, this week's episode showed her second act of compassion for Quentin. The first was when she had him as a prisoner in the truck a while back and she asked him if the handcuffs were too tight, showing general concern for his comfort. And now this week...not killing him was a good thing. Some part of the connection they had talking about her childhood stuck. Even though he shot her with the intent of killing her earlier this season, she let him go. Quentin saying, "Laurel" was heavy. As ruthless a murderer she is, there is something good down there that I think only Quentin can help surface. The second half of the season will be quite interesting.
