I thought they were shutting down on February 20th but I checked yesterday on the 19th and poof,...they were gone.

Yeah I am on the west coast and by midday they were gone, it sucks I was about to do some screenshots too. Oh well forget them I am never supporting that site again.

I started posting goodbyes to all my sites as soon as I heard about the closing. I did a few each day until ALL were done…so, the shutdown didn’t catch me short on that front.

But, the “early” closing still knocked me back quite a bit. I had gone on late to see if there was anything new to read under my favorite Threads. Also, wanted to read the last goodbyes from my fellow posters and

I’ve read on other sites that the closing deadline was based on GMT. Fine…don’t have a problem with that. What I do have a problem with is that that little factoid wasn’t mentioned anywhere in their “Important” announcement, OR elsewhere.

You’d think that folks in the communications business would be better at it!
