Discuss The Big Bang Theory

Something I was thinking about: If Penny and Leonard were to end their marriage which do you think would be more likely to initiate that? Based on the episode before last, I'd say Penny.

Joyce Kim! jk I hope this doesn't happen. The writer's are having a tough enough time with all the different plot arcs.
Just watched last night's ep and liked it. Nice to see the guys hanging at the comic book store.

That's a good question but it's impossible to answer without providing the details of the possible reason for the break up.

As it stands now I believe Penney has submitted her love for Leonard after all of her previous undecidedness. The wall fell so to speak. Meanwhile Leonard has always stood his ground in the relationship and in a convoluted way now wears the pants....which is necessary for a healthy relationship.

Just my rambling

I would think Penny would start it.

As for her prior dating, if Penny could get a guy like Zack, what was she ever doing with Kurt?

Did you just go Occam's razor with Zack and Kurt?

Still waiting for Gillete to come out with "Occam's Razors" the simpler choice, as a marketing campaign.

I don't know. Would there be a point to breaking them up with only two seasons to go? It's already been proven many a time that you shouldn't break up couples at the end who were fated from the beginning barring any unforeseen circumstances (see The Wonder Years or Will & Grace), so I think the writers just have to get off their lazy asses and write them better.

Or Moonlighting. No Dave & Maddie was the worst.

That....is good!

I tend to go the other way. I see them as in it for the long haul. People seem to really want to break up couples. To me that seems to be an easy story line. Better to let them grow and mature. ... New thought: a "future episode" where the gang is insanely old reliving old problems, "these kids now days dag nab it! don't know how to roll play like .......... Dr Who's on!!"

The Wonder Years I kind of understood (even though no Winnie and Kevin sucked) because how realistic is it for a couple to meet that young and end up together? Will & Grace, on the other hand, was just awful. One of the worst season finales ever. It ruined the show for me.

Regarding Leonard and Penny, I agree, the writers just have to do better by them.
