I think Barenaked Ladies' " History of the World" ranks up there with the best but my personal favorite is the English Sailor Moon theme song https://youtu.be/BUqpAeVyqEI

I know we had this discussion up on that other board a couple of times and I am sure I can guess as to what themes will show up here. Since you started with Sailor Moon here is a show that was certainly inspired by it.

Most of the ones I like were from 80s - 90s like Siver Spoons, Step by Step, Punky Brewster, Growing Pains, Good Times, A Different World and Duck Tales.
I also like themes without lyrics like Sex and The City, Will and Grace, Quantum Leap, Beverly Hills 90210, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Cosby Show and America's Next Top Model.

I loved that tune! I watched it with my nephew. "Woo Ooo!"
I like the themes for The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, 30 Rock and Psych.

I usually mentioned The Rockford Files - Mike Post. And other posters my age remember our parents watching Perry Mason after the late news - - amazing orchestrated theme. But I'm going to toss out the original, of three I think, versions from Lost In Space. Early John Williams!!

The theme songs of today are very weak in comparison to the old days. There was a major emphasis placed on the themes back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Nowadays, its mostly an afterthought.

Lost in Space season 3?? Did you take a marijuana? Season one is by far superior. Actually I can't tell much of a difference between the versions. But the cheezy animation for the season one intro is what fascinated me as a little kid.

LOST IN SPACE's song from Season 1-2 was okay. Everyone I know (my age) likes the Season 3 tune better. But to each his own.
