Discuss Survivor

Wow! The whole goat thing was disturbing! Especially that Sandra, knowing it was a mother and her baby, still wanted to kill them! What the heck!?! That really made me dislike her.

I was sad to see Caleb go so early. I don't think that was the right move getting rid of a strong player. I would imagine they're going to have an even harder time in challenges now.

Yeah, I was about to cry on the kitchen floor, and I had my finger on the FF button. I just couldn't stand to see any crazy shyt. I know people eat goat, but c'mon -- Sandra agreed to be on Survivor. There is a 99% chance she was going to be hungry.

Plus, I don't think if the catching of an adult goat for eating would have caused Sandra to pause voting out the guy who caught the goat. She's so callous, and that baby goat was so cute. Plus, the mother staying behind w/the baby. I got the sads. cry

Well, I wasn't sad, but I totally thought it was a stupid move for the tribe and Tai.

Oh, I totally agree with you about Sandra. She wouldn't care if that guy (TJ?, Can't remember his name) caught her a cow and served her up steaks. She'd vote him out in a heartbeat if she thought it would help her game. The previews for next week look like she is going to have some people gunning for her.

Double elimination next week too! That's going to be interesting!

What did you think of Troyzan getting the idol? I thought he was going to get busted going for it!

I bet they are not even allowed to eat the local goats. This was probably staged to bring more drama to the show. If not then Sandra is a cold hearted SOB, hungry or not.

Voting out Caleb was a huge mistake...it's too early to get rid of the strong players. Now they will probably just lose every challenge and get picked off one at a time. Everyone is so worried about the merge and the possible alliances but that doesn't really matter if your team doesn't make the merge....

I agree with you that it shows how self-centered she is, she cares about no one's opinion but her own. If it betters her game then great, if it doesn't she wants them gone and voted out.

I was too upset that he's gone too soon, at least stay until the merge. I thought Tai would be loyal to their friendship, until it went no further. I know for some people loyalty means everything and sometimes the heart and the head are going to be at disagreements.

Also true is the fact that Caleb was one, if only, their strong player and I wonder how things will turn out with the tribe. They may get picked off one by one and end up in the same situation as Kaôh Rong, where the Brawn tribe was decimated and it went to two tribes.

I do think they are allowed to kill the wildlife unless they're deemed endangered or protected. I do recall past seasons where that happened and it was OK. Plus if you were realistically in this situation, all wildlife can be deemed as a source of food.

Didn't anyone pick up on what Makayla said? She mentioned that she didn't think they (production) would allow them to eat them.

Now, I don't know if she said that as a diplomatic way of approaching the issue of the goat eating, or if it was really what production said.

Regards Caleb, I don't know why everyone keeps saying he is a strong player. Physical strength is highly overrated on survivor, especially by the ones who have it. He has no clue about survivor. Yes he is physically strong, but who cares, especially in an all star season like this. Things get mixed up so much that physical strength is even less important than usual. Lots of challenges have nothing to do with physical strength. The only winner who won because of that quality was Mike from Worlds Apart and then only because he made sure that anyone who challenged him in that regard was voted out.

That said, it was a mistake for Tai, and probably Culpepper, to vote him out. It benefits the women and the weaker males because players like Caleb who have the PT card usually don't have much respect for other qualities. Look at what he said about Hali, sucks at eveything. Sure, and she probably has about 40 IQ points on you , dude.

People might recall Caleb's game play on Big Brother, and he wasn't a meanie on that show. Plus, he's right in attacking Hali. He had to find a way to stay on the island.

Personally, I didn't any type of way for him leaving, but it was stupid move to vote him off.

@Poetist Spoilersspoilers** With the latest tribe switch it is looking like the final three spoiler that I saw preseason is going to play out. Cirie, Hali and Sierra are now on the same tribe. With only 2 men.

No, that is not the spoiler I saw. I saw actual pictures, and I saw three people. I only remember two of them, and I was told who was the winner. So far, everything in that spoiler -- that I saw -- is true.

Okay, spoiler alert.

You've been warned.

(((((The winner is Mykala. Tai is one of the three people with Mykala. I can't remember the third person.)))

Spoiler AlertSpoiler Alert*********** The spoiler I saw was online, no pictures and I have no idea how credible. It has Cirie, Sierra and Hali as the final three and Cirie winning. That scenario is possible at this point as is the one you saw. Sierra has the advantage, Hali has an underappreciated edit so far, and I think Cirie is in for a female alliance.

On the other hand, Tai has two idols and Mychaela is a great challenge competitor, so I can see how that scenario happens. I wonder who the third person is?

Jonnie, I saw that spoiler on IMDB during the previous season. When Mikayla was voted off, some time after that, someone said she was on the next Survivor. That was true.

Then, they said she won, and they posted a pic of Mik, Tai, and one other person.

I bet if you go to this site, you might be able to find out that old post and see the pic. This site "stripped" IMBD of posts. On some boards, they were not successful getting all the info but who knows. Perhaps, you'll get lucky and spot it.

@Poetist I guess my final three spoiler is no longer in play with the Hali boot. Yours is, however. I can easily see it happening now. Makes me wonder even more who the third person is? Cirie by the current edit, but I can't see the other players allowing her to make it that far. Maybe Sierra, with her advantage.

Jonnie, Moshiyoshi is the one I believe revealed the picture. I tried to look for the exact post, but all I found was the one she posted on the night Mykala was eliminated.

I'll confess that I read spoilers. But I'm confused about the above. Why would you have spoilers for the final three and the winner? Isn't the winner revealed live in the final broadcast? There's no way there could be spoilers.

The Survivor finalists and eventual winner have been spoiled many times in the past. In some seasons, the exact boot order was spoiled. I don't know if its crew members, employees of CBS or whomever, but info does get out.
