I enjoyed the premiere. Seems like the returning players are going to be targets for sure. I guess this season is basically redemption island, with the chance of coming back. I like the route they're going with changing up the advantages. I'm happy to see they're doing it again this season.

I hate to say this, but I think returning players need short-term immunity. Perhaps, they get a pass for two tribals. Otherwise, why should they bother? Yeah, I know the check, but. . .
I really like that they changed up the advantages last season. The menu option this season is definitely pretty cool too. The idol nullifier and steal a vote last season was played perfectly, but i think it was more luck than anything. I'm curious to see what other changes they have planned for the season. As far as returning players go, Joe is going to be a huge target. His previous seasons showed how much of a threat he can be in the challenges. At least a couple of his tribe mates are talking about keeping him just as a shield. His only hope is trying to last until the merge and individual immunity. I'm interested in seeing how the other island works out. If they're going to keep all the people who choose to go over there together, or are they going to have to compete in challenges after every vote.
Ozzy did fantastic with that, but there aren't many players like him, lol.
It would be interesting to see all of the cast offs form a third tribe. They'd have to probably do double eliminations to keep the season on track, but that would certainly shake things up.

Wow, I like the idea of third tribe. You should send that idea to the producers.
Somehow I got the feeling that Keith really wanted to go home, and when he saw that roadblock, all of that protesting he was doing was obviously for show. Getting kicked off the tribe spared him of all that toil and humiliation of sucking at the challenges. When he saw those signs, I'm sure he was like damn! Now, how can I save face, oh Lord?
Keith said he was a Momma's boy, so he might be missing his momma by now... he will go home. If he only knew that his "survivor momma" is waiting for him at the other end. If four castaways are sent to the edge of extinction, they could become an alliance and come back strong and start voting the others out... if they stay true to it, but someone always turns.

I think the tribe, that had to fend for themselves, could stick it out, or at least, I would like to see that.

I agree! Any other player would be chomping at the bit for a chance to get back in the game! Of the returning players, I think David is the only one that has a shot of going far in the game. Or, I'd like to see that at least. I liked him his first season too.

I can't seem to remember David, and I have a vague memory of Wentworth. In my memory, she wasn't all that.

They did that last season. What they didn't do was the menu option, which is super cool.

I agree.
Yeah, however, he can't win every immunity.
I hope not. I hated that, because the first one to go to the island had to fight off everyone who came their one. That looked totally exhausting.

Hopefully we'll get a better idea next week of what they're planning, but they're probably going to keep us guessing for a while.

Wentworth was a pretty good player. I think she gets a lot of buzz because she found a couple of idols.

Well, there are quite a few players who found a couple of idols. Heinz was the one who started it all.
