　　本部电视纪录片以西藏第三大城镇江孜为拍摄地点，将目光对准最为普通的民众，跟拍八位普通藏族人一年四季的生活，记录并讲述了他们生活中包括劳作、诵经、婚恋、庆生等点点滴滴的生活故事。本纪录片由《夏末》、《秋》、《冬》、《冬末》和《春》五集组成，每集由三个主要人物在这个季节里发生的最朴素、最真实、最生动的生活故事组成。诚如影片拍摄者所言“这就是西藏人的生活、信仰和困惑”。
