Questions about Season 1 and Season 2

The first season was supposed to be 12 episodes, why 24 here? From the previous official release of publicity and visual images, the current production should be the second season is correct, this problem has not been noticed?

As per our rule, when the episodes are numbered continuously, they should be added to the same season.
An episode group is available for the 2 parts split.
