Did it originally air as S3 of Justice League or as a new series? I currently can't access the archives, but maybe someone else can do the research? http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/jlu/index.html

Justice League Unlimited was a separate show (compared to Justice League), yet served as a continuation of Justice League. I have Blu-Rays of JLU and the title card shows Justice League Unlimited.

Some sites will show Seasons 1-3 of JLU as seaons 3-5 (respectively) of Justice League, but it is a separate title.
