There was a 1979 skit called 'Bel Airabs'. It was a spoof of the Beverly Hillbillies where some Arabs led by Abdul struck it rich in oil and moved to Beverly Hills. They could not fly series regulars like Bill Murray out to LA to do the opening driving scene of the Arabs driving in BH so they hired local LA people to do the shot. The son of one of those local people --one Noah Stone appeared on Flickr talking about his folks dressed as Bel-Airabs.
