So far everything I was hoping to be a suitably candidate to replace TVD was either disappointing or even bad. Examples: Westworld, Shadowhunters, even Riverdale and Legion so far. So my hopes will be on upcoming Lost Boys, Queen of Shadows and Midnight, Texas (with Lexie).
I haven't watched it, but I hear Riverdale is good.
I feel like I'm too old for Riverdale, lol. I considered watching before I saw the previews but the Letterman jackets, etc. helped to convince me that maybe I probably wouldn't relate much with that show.

I tried to watch Shadowhunters but I really couldn't get into it. I haven't heard of Queen of Shadows but I'm definitely going to be looking into Midnight, Texas. Lately I've been watching Outsiders on WGN America (which has a tiny bit of supernatural elements) but mostly I'm ready for Outlander and GoT to return.

I'll put myself out there. I'm 45 and watch Riverdale. Please don't judge ☺️ It's not horrible.
Good shows are good no matter what age you are. I am older also and enjoyed a variety of different shows including tvd. I liked that the characters aged a x evolved.

Maybe I'll give it a shot (probably after the entire season airs). I guess I shouldn't be so picky. I've been known to watch episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark on occasion still (I'm 31), lol.
Well, if you're not " fat, drunk and stupid"", "Taboo "is an excellent show with an outstanding cast It delves into the supernatural and an especially evil romance.... but I digress, fat drunk people may like this but "stupid" will never get it. Better to stick to high school river muck. Age doesn't apply unless you are under 14?
I would also reiterate Riverdale; it is a high school drama/mystery, but i've found it engaging enough to keep my interest. I would only suggest legion to those who are familiar with the x-men universe or those that are into the metahuman/superhero genre. Also, not sure if you were keeping up with the originals, but the new season is starting soon.
Grimm is really good..its kinda like the show supernatural except with romance..and even a possible love triangle..its currently on the last season (s6) but i really enjoy it.
I may be the only one, but I am glad this show is finally ending. I would never have stuck with it, if I had known it was going to last 8 seasons (however I stuck around until the end). I sometimes feel like I watch too much TV, so it will be nice to have one less series to worry about.

Legion is also worth watching, supernatural romance included.

I was thinking of watching the Originals. Liked most of the characters that were on tvd
