die in the finale?
I really hope neither Damon or Stefan. But, with Stefan and Caroline marrying, one of them may be struck by tragedy
The obvious choice is, of course (and I really hope not) is Bonnie so she can be with Enzo and Elena can be reawakened. But I hope not

My money is still on Stefan with Caroline as second choice. Since season 5 Stefan was written like a total loser:

I think it'll be Bonnie who dies, but I also don't think Stefan and Caroline will get a happy ending either. I'm kinda thinking they might throw in a hail mary, out-of-left-field surprise in the form of Klaus. Why else show him in the promo?
They are going to need to draw viewers to The Originals, and Alaric alone isn't going to cut it. Teasing people that Caroline may go to New Orleans (whether or not she actually gets together with Klaus) sounds like something they would do.

I really don't want it but I think Bonnie is the obvious choice. With the man she loves dead and her life tied to Elena, she makes the obvious choice but I think she deserves a happy ending
I really don't see Stefan or Caroline getting their happy ending. With Cami gone in The Originals, Klaus needs a new (old) love interest. Again I hope it's not Stefan though

I'm actually betting on Damon going lights out with an end all, white knight kind of death. I think it's only befitting; having him finally redeem himself by selflessly sacrificing his life for the sake of the others. He is (arguably) the cause of most if not all of their problems after all.

I suppose that would be a fitting ending with Damon - after all the suffering he has caused - making the most human action and sacrifing himself for everyone but I really don't want him to die
