Item: Miniseries

Language: it-IT

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: Why calling the first season "Miniseries"? That's NOT the name/title of the season, nowhere it is indicated like that (not even on the official HBO website). Moreover, we already have that info as "type" at the series level, so no need to repeat it there I think. Could you please remove it? It really makes no sense to me. Thank you!

It's always been this way, and it is allowed per the TV guidelines.

Sorry, but what kind of arguments are those? The fact it's always been this way and that it's allowed by the guidelines doesn't mean that's right ("can be used" doesn't mean "has to be used"). It really makes no sense to call "Miniseries" a season of a "Miniseries". What's the "type" field there for then?

The argument is I'm not going to remove something that is explicitly allowed in the guidelines because one contributor doesn't like it. You don't have to like it, but it's allowed and is frequently used. man_shrugging_tone1
