Sad to hear that Heinz Wolff has died aged 89. The Great Egg Race was one of my favourite shows when I was a kid - the contraptions created by the contestants fascinated me, as did Professor Wolff's eccentricity. As a child I saw him as a storybook mad scientist come to life. RIP.
