奥运会为什么分冬季和夏季？跑得最快的人和滑冰最快的人，谁的速度更快？在2022年北京冬奥会即将开幕之际，由中央广播电视总台影视剧纪录片中心摄制的10集纪录片《了不起的冬天》，将于2月1日起在CCTV-9播出，这部兼具趣味性与科学性的冬奥科普纪录片，聚焦冬季奥林匹克运动会各比赛项目及北京冬奥会赛场建设亮点等相关知识，采用“动漫+科普达人讲解”的趣味方式，多角度、深层次地展示冬季奥林匹克运动会的独特魅力。

《了不起的冬天》共10集，分别为《速度的艺术》《默契》《有范儿》《刀尖之争》《捏一把汗的飞行》《气喘吁吁》《跨界》《小算盘》《瞬间的奥秘》和《了不起的冬天》。在每集25分钟的体量中，精心提炼、集中选取冬奥会项目中的有趣主题，生动展示各冰雪项目的悠久历史、运动原理及科技亮点，并结合北京冬奥会“冰丝带”场馆赛场建设、科学训练辅助方式等趣味知识，为观众带来妙趣横生、精彩绝伦的“冬奥科普大餐”。

据了解，该片邀请了著名科普工作者李永乐老师和知名漫画家“左手韩”参与拍摄，共同助力打造这部详细介绍冬季运动科学知识的纪录片。该片还大量选用动漫的表达形式，结合科普达人的生动讲解，以轻松活泼、新颖趣味的表达与“网感”十足的视角来展示冬奥体育运动的魅力和人类不断挑战自我的精神，在向观众传递奥林匹克知识的同时，也向世界展示中国冬季运动发展的成就，弘扬开拓进取、超越现实的奥林匹克精神。
