I believe the episodes currently labeled as Season 7 by Comedy Central are a re-edit of the 2020 Quibi reboot and should not be added to this entry. The Quibi reboot can be found here.

Respectfully, imdb, thetvdb, and tvmaze are all doing the new stuff as seasons 7 and 8. This new content continues with the same character and under the Reno 911 brand - which I would argue is a revival, not a reboot.

Anyway, some of my software is choking on this right now because other pieces use imdb/thetvdb/tvmaze. Totally get it if you want to keep it separate.

I understand, but TMDB is the only database that separates the shows/seasons. This is breaking all of our software.

IMDb joins them

TheTVDB joins them

TVmaze joined #SquadGoals but seperated Defunded

I am unable to add the last two seasons to my collection (#SquadGoals & Defunded) because TMDB and IMDb/TheTVDB do not match.

Please please please resolve this.

I understand your desire to separate seasons based on the network they aired on. However, I've noticed that several shows in your collection remain grouped together despite airing on different networks. For example:

I hope you can give this another thought, as it's pretty important. Reno 911 is one of my favorite shows, but I can't add it to my local collection due to this discrepancy.

It seems that you are misunderstanding why the 2 series are split.

The series broadcasted by Quibi was a reboot series starting from S01E01 as indicated in this old report as well as in this older one.

For these shows, this was a continuation of the existing series. The new network didn't restart the season numbering.
