真崎直（泷泽秀明 饰）是一位正处于叛逆期的少年，整天在学校里惹是生非。这一日，真崎直因为又闯了祸而被留堂了，母亲祐子（佐藤仁美 饰）去学校接他回家，回去的途中，母子二人遇见了名叫伊濑谷亚美（优香 饰）的女孩和她的母亲，不知怎的，亚美给真崎直留下了非常深刻的印象。

　　祐子出门遛狗，却整夜没有回家，第二天，真崎直接到了来自医院的通知，在那里等待着他的，是母亲早已经凉透了的遗体。所有人都告诉真崎直，母亲的死是一场意外，是因为她常年过度劳累所致，父亲也决定不再追求，让这件事情成为过去。只有真崎直一人坚信，事情的真相绝对不是他所知晓的那么简单。

Nao always get's into fights and does fight for his mother but eventually she dies. He is certain the hospital did something wrong which caused her death so he finds a lawyer because he wants to know the truth. While he trying to discover the truth of his mothers death he falls in love with the daughter of the hospital owner.
