Classic British crime-solving t.v. series (2006-2015)

This is an excellent British detective series - well-done, appealing, and classy. Its episodes are smart, interesting, and wonderfully cast, and it's such a shame that no more new seasons will be getting produced.
The series' regular primary cast is spot-on perfection: Kevin Whately as Robbie Lewis, Laurence Fox as James Hathaway, Clare Holman as Laura Hobson, and Rebecca Front as Jean Innocent.

I really enjoyed this series. and check every now and then if there was a new episode released. Unfortunately not.
I was very happy when Lewis married Dr. Hobson.
PS: I miss Inspector Morse too.

I really wish that a Hathaway series would come into existence. It would be natural progression, after Inspector Morse and then Lewis. Hathaway's friends/coworkers from Lewis could pop in from time to time. It would all be win win!
I think Laurence Fox definitely could "carry" a series.

Yes I forgot about Hathaway and I agree, I think he could carry on a new series. I really liked him too, and thought him quite unique.
