Reunidos do mundo todo, trinta e seis jovens irão competir pela chance de estrearem como os mais novos ídolos da música. Em meio aos vários desafios, eles aprenderão a confiar uns nos outros, mas a camaradagem só pode ir até certo ponto. Competindo pelo “xeque-mate”, esses trinta e seis jovens irão trabalhar sem parar na tentativa de impressionar um painel de celebridades que atuam como juízes desta competição. Será que eles possuem tudo que é necessário para fazerem seus sonhos se tornarem realidade? Essa bancada de juízes-celebridades inclui Solar, Im Han Byul, Kim Sung Eun, Hanhae, Vata e Ingyoo. Apresentado por Xiumin do grupo EXO, este reality show competitivo sul-coreano foi dirigido por Hwang Min Gyu, Park Ho Sin e Jang In Hye.
