Re-watching the final season...

First time in at least ten years that I've watched any of these and I am surprised to find it to be a little more watchable than I recall. Still terrible, mind you, but it doesn't bother me like it used to.
Anyone have similar ambivalent feelings regarding the red-headed step-child season?

It was kind of funny when they went on the Jerry Springer Show and that black lady got up and said something about their lottery win being living proof there is a God because he said he provides for fools and she was looking at them. I could watch that episode over and over again, but some of them were cringe-worthy from the last season.

I hated the last season. Now there is talk of a reunion show. I hope they ignore the last season!

Dan should've died after spending time in the hospital and have the family reacting to his death. The last season would've been better instead of the lotto.

True. I'm curious to know how they are going to work him into the reunion show. There are so many things that will be wrong with the show if they keep to script -- Dan dead, Darlene with Mark, etc. I watched the show because of John Goodman. I want to see him back as Dan --- not as some ghost or flashback character.

I wonder if Jackie is still the who was gay and still had Andy or how all that would work out? It would be a mess

They need to ignore the whole last season and bring everyone back the way they were. How lucky for a reunion show that most of the cast are still alive. Is the guy who played Mark the only actor who has passed away?

Just remembered Shelley Winters as Nana Mary passed away. Also Estelle Parsons as Roseanne's mom. (?). Anyway they weren't major characters but most of the main cast is still alive. I want to see how Jackies kid turned out -- but if they stick to last season he will never have been born!
