Hoshi and Archer talk about how it was rainy and miserable when he came to see her at the language school. But we saw that in episode 1, and it wasn't so.
I suppose there could have been more than one time.

I think we must assume he was talking about a previous encounter from what I understand in episode 1 Archer and Hoshi knew each other.

They should have included more detail. Like maybe "the first time you came to see me..." Otherwise the natural assumption is that they meant the time shown in episode 1.

Well from the interaction between Hoshi and Archer when she is introduced seems to suggest they have met before

Met, sure. At Starfleet HQ, etc, maybe several times. But at the school? That's what Hoshi was talking about.

Well according to a later interaction Hoshi reveals that she almost got sacked from the Academy because of a poker game and I believe that it was because of Archer that she got to stay also in Brasil she is not at school as a student she is teaching there.

Well they way how they interact implies they know each other and that she mentions it should be enough background do we need to see it?
