There are, in fact, no seasons at all in Naruto Shippuden, regardless of what Wikipedia says. Wikipedia is not an authority on anime and uses things like DVD releases outside of Japan and story arcs to define a non-native version of seasons. In Japan, the show airs without seasons. When in doubt, Anime News Network is your best bet.

Season 20 is locked because I went through the entire long series and removed duplicate episodes, fixed airdates, and got all the different languages back in sync. I didn't want people coming along and trying to "fix" my corrections by implementing their own version of "seasons". Right at this very minute, we are discussing the best way to fix the season breakups for this and a few other series, so if you want to add the newest episodes, please just tack them on to the end of the last season already present, even if you don't agree with that season's existence. Pretty soon those seasons will all disappear anyway; what's most important now is keeping things in the correct order and with the correct dates. If you want to simply add more info to existing episodes already created in season 20, you are totally able to do that. Let me know if this doesn't make sense! :)

I have no idea what you're trying to say or what you're requesting. You haven't even said what kind of changes you want to make that are being prevented by the seasons being locked. I've explained the situation, and that's how it is. Edit the existing information all you want but it is a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME to "move" episodes to season 20 (screwing up the other languages at the same time - THAT is a lot of what I fixed) when pretty soon those stupid fake seasons are all going to go away.

As I've said, we're in discussions on how to fix these screwed-up anime records. You'll just have to wait until discussions are finished and changes can be implemented. You'll probably actually find it easier to edit and keep track of stuff once things are all aligned properly. I'm sorry we're not moving fast enough for you. :(

I've done some more tidying up of things in this record, got rid of more duplicates, and have unlocked season 20. I'm still checking most of the languages to make sure they're all in sync but as of right now English, French, and Japanese are confirmed. Hopefully no one will try to "move" anything! :)

You never did say what kind of info you wanted to add, but it's been free for editing all along. However now it's possible to add more episodes (though I think it's up to date). All other info could have been edited anyway without unlocking. If you run into problems, just let me know.
