The first two seasons were really good. The second two were often sillier than hell. I always admired how the cast were able to say their lines while keeping such straight faces.

@manfromatlantis: Is it me, or were the bad guys and/or monsters and aliens always beating up Seaview crew member Patterson? That seemed to be his job on the sub: designated crewman who gets whaled on by evil things.
