S11 felt like classic Red Dwarf again, with the four Dwarfers in Starbug, and every plot centering on an interesting science fiction idea (often though just riffs on ones used earlier). Unfortunately, the scripts were mostly pretty lame, though the acting and special effects were fine.
There were sparks in every episode, but I thought that the only consistently good one was S11E3, "Give and Take".
I think this is in my top 5 episodes, certainly in my top 10. A clever time-paradox resolution. Snacky should have been kept around as the new Talky Toaster.

I agree they are recylcing from themselves with mostly predictable jokes and tired scripts, although some really good ideas here and there. Don't get me wrong it's been better than Red Dwarf at its worst (I'm looking at the one episode plot spread over 3 parters), but its far, far from the hayday.
It was nice having a cat centric episode too, i did like the "She did things no other woman would do, like, you know, when you are blowing on her antena and the big tube thing comes out of her back..." speech.
It never explains whose kidneys were actually caught in friendly fire.
