Anyone else feel something off in the premiere? Waited all summer for it and I fell asleep. Just didn`t keep my interest for an hour

I'm glad to see it back and really enjoyed it. A bit over the top but that's what I love about it. I like the new girl. Didn't really miss Kono and Chin Ho. As long as Steve is there I'm happy.

Im watching it now, I didn't know Kono and Chin were no longer on the show. I can do without Kono, but I love Chin. Anybody know if he will be returning as a guest? Why couldn't they get rid of Grover instead???
Love when Danny said the new girl is a female version of Steve!

It was mentioned in another thread. http://deadline.com/2017/06/hawaii-five-o-daniel-dae-kim-grace-park-exiting-season-8-1202122783/. At the end of season 8 episode 2, it was mentioned they both will be busy awhile with Kono helping the FBI prosecute sex traffickers.
I have way less reason to watch since I was drawn in by Kono being involved with Adam, and continued to watch during him being in prison. I will just be more conscious to watch my backlog of other TV shows I missed during the week, ignoring the TV promos. I'm thankful for the article link for helping me plan my TV-watching time.

Thank you for the article. I agree with you regarding Kono and Adam's relationship.
I have accumulated quite a few shows to watch as well, although some may get erased from the PVR because they didn't have great starts (10 days in the valley, Wisdom of the crowd). That's all I can think of right now. Thanks again

It sucked! I will no longer watch the show, mainly because of the exit of Kono & Chin Ho. They weren't the reason why I started watching in the first season but as the show went on they were two of my favorite characters along with Kamekona, Adam, & Danno's daughter Grace.

I have to say I enjoyed this week's episode (Oct 13). I think the British guy Harry really made it interesting. I wish he could be a series regular. It would add a cool dimension to the show. I wouldnt even be mad if they got rid of Grover (never liked his character). It would be fun to watch Steve and Danny learn a few things from Harry.haha

Why would Adam still be on the show? I'm pretty sure he went with Kono when she left for her new job.

Back in May, when it was announced that Chin and Kono were not returning, it was rumored that Adam was going to fill in for her. In reality, yeah the husband should follow the wife and vice-versa, but when did this show become a reality show?

That would be least disruptive to the shows core
