I used to be crazy about this series, when it aired (including for a while in reruns) several years ago. I don't remember much specifically about it any longer, but do recall considering it one of the funniest things I had ever seen. The two leads, Prunella Scales (as Mapp) and Geraldine McEwan (as Lucia), were thoroughly wonderful.
