Item: Season 4
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: The 2018 series "Drain the Oceans" seems to be missing some episodes in season 4 - "Arctic War" and "The Mississippi River". I added the episodes. However, I could not add them at their proper location in the list. I tried to shift other episodes to put them in their proper places, but I cannot do that because of locked titles on episodes that were already there. I also added the more recent episode, "Vanished", but it is where it belongs. I know this show is especially hard to to deal with because of the re-airing of old material under new names and the lack of a good official National Geographic website that properly lists all the episodes.
If you have a better canonical source of information about the show, i would appreciate knowing that.
Thanks

Did you have proof the episodes originally aired in the fourth season?
The current listing corresponds to the Nat Geo archives.
On the Nat Geo website, the episodes are two different pages (which is why they are here):
http://web.archive.org/web/20210902123320/https://www.nationalgeographic.com/tv/movies-and-specials/drain-the-oceans-arctic-war
http://web.archive.org/web/20210902123329/https://www.nationalgeographic.com/tv/movies-and-specials/drain-the-oceans-mississippi
On some streaming platforms, they are part of a different series Drain the Oceans: The Mississippi River & Arctic War :

https://tv.apple.com/us/show/drain-the-oceans-the-mississippi-river--arctic-war/umc.cmc.6xiv0dekebu19y85btntd9q0e
And some international Nat Geo channels have them as extras.

Hi Banana,
Thank you for your response. I don't know if I would call anything "proof". I readily admit that this is one of the messiest series to deal with I have ever seen. Multiple seemingly related series titles with various episode groupings under different titles make it a challenge. In addition there are the mash-up episodes that present no new material. All I had to go by was that I subscribe to Nat. Geo. on Comcast xFinity. I have had my "DVR set to record every new episode of Drain the Oceans since its inception. These two episodes were recorded for the first time on the dates I listed under the Drain the Oceans series name and with season 4 episode numbers as I had mentioned. I'm not saying Comcast was correct, but that is what they listed when the episodes aired, for the first time as far as I can tell.
I don't have any stake in how these are handled. I was just wanting to get them listed and what I did reflected what I had seen aired. I think Nat. Geo. couldn't make up their mind how to treat this show. Maybe Disney will clean it up. I do find it a bit odd that you had to go to the internet archives for the Nat. Geo. season 4 info, but maybe that is because of the series moving. I am fine with using the other separate listings for these episodes if that is the preferred method. Thanks for getting back.
