Same answer than to the report for episode 26: The official web site has 26 episodes. Thetvdb is missing 2 episodes: episode 9 (broadcasted May 28, 2002) and episode 18 (broadcated July 30, 2002).

OK, it seems that episodes 9 and 18 are kind of recap episodes sumarizing previous events. The were broadcasted at the time, but excluded from the DVD releases. I haven't seen the series myself, so I don't know which kind of recap episodes there are and whether there should be removed from the season or from the specials season.

Since they are numbered sequentially like any other "normal" episode, they should be included in the Season 1 and not in the Specials season. This is what the Bible says about specials:

Specials

Special TV episodes, single-episode OVAs, recap episodes (unless they are numerated as regular episodes), bonus episodes bundled with the DVD release, and any episodes that didn't air during the initial Japanese TV broadcast belong in the Specials.

Episodes should be added exactly as they first aired on the original network. Thetvdb has different rules, so they consider these 2 episodes as specials.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that there is an episode group that have these 2 recap episodes in the Specials season. I think that this is the order you are looking for.

The first episode of a season is always "1" not "0". Episodes officially released as "Episode 0" are added in the Specials. This is also true for episodes released as "Episode 0.5" as well as any other odd-numbered or unnumbered episodes.

Regarding episodes 9 and 18, we follow the original order as they were first aired. Episodes 8 and 18 were originally numbered as regular episodes, so they should go in season 1 regardless of whether they're summaries or not.

Anyway, you can use an episode group for a different order. There is an existing order group that has these episodes in the specials season. I hope this fits your needs.

Sorry to hear that. I don't know much about Plex, but maybe you can ask them to support user groups. I think it's quite a useful feature and many people could benefit from it.
