When Zim comes home from a lousy day at skool because he found out that Dib knows a flaw in his security system, Gir attempts to cheer him up by rubbing bacon oil all over his face. However, when Zim develops a pimple due to the grease, he fears that he will be considered abnormal and that it will jeopardize his mission. Zim believe he can use some acne medicine to get rid of the pimple, but when it only gets worse and when Gir draws a little face on the pimple, Zim believes all hope is lost; though Zim soon discovers the pimple has hypnotic powers and he hopes to exploit this new power in order to get Dib to reveal his secret.

Zim wird von einem typischen menschlichen Leiden heimgesucht: Er kriegt einen riesigen Pickel. Das besondere an diesem Pickel ist, dass er hypnotische Fähigkeiten besitzt. Diese Gabe nutzt Zim, um Dib die Sicherheitslücke in seiner Hausverteidigung zu entlocken, was ihm auch schließlich gelingt.

A Zim le crece una espinilla terráquea en la cara, y tiene una reacción química a ella que la convierte en un bulto enorme y mutante en su cara. La utiliza para hipnotizar a los alumnos del colegio y a Dib para que le indique una falla en su jardín de gnomos.

Cuando Zim llega a casa tras un pésimo día en la escuela porque ha descubierto que Dib conoce un fallo en su sistema de seguridad, Gir intenta animarle frotándole la cara con aceite de tocino. Sin embargo, cuando a Zim le sale un grano debido a la grasa, teme que le consideren anormal y que eso ponga en peligro su misión. Zim cree que puede utilizar algún medicamento contra el acné para deshacerse del grano, pero cuando éste no hace más que empeorar y cuando Gir dibuja una carita en el grano, Zim cree que toda esperanza está perdida; aunque Zim pronto descubre que el grano tiene poderes hipnóticos y espera explotar este nuevo poder para conseguir que Dib le revele su secreto.
